Event details
Jazz Hang 2025/26 will be launching soon! Sign up for our waiting list to be the first to hear when applications open to take part in next year’s programme!
The London Jazz Scene is on fire, with artists and Trinity Laban alumni like Mercury Prize-winners Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia and Moses Boyd tearing it up at festivals and on TV, and performing around the world. The Jazz Hang – delivered in partnership with Tomorrow’s Warriors and Lewisham Music – is aimed at young musicians aged 10-16 who are at an early stage in their engagement with Jazz and want to learn more about it, but don’t know where to start.
The Jazz Hang is a series of regular sessions of informal and practical jazz learning, along with opportunities to attend occasional weekend jazz masterclass days.
As part of the Jazz Hang, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take part in our weekly Jazz sessions led by Rosie Turton,
- Participate in masterclasses with expert tutors (previously include Tony Kofi, Romarna Campbell, Chelsea Carmichael),
- Participate in performances (previous guest artists include Theon Cross!)
- Work alongside Trinity Laban students on a regular basis.
- Participate in jams and visits to concerts with the Tomorrow’s Warriors cohort
Sign up to our waiting list to hear first about applications opening for the FREE Jazz Hang programme 2025/26.
