Explore, create and perform with Bellingham Beats – a creative dance class for 5-11 year olds.
Bellingham Beats is a series of creative dance classes supporting young people to develop their movement and coordination skills, as well as work with friends to create their own choreography. These high-quality classes are taught by a Trinity Laban dance artist, and take place offsite in Bellingham with regular performance opportunities.
Class Times:
16.15 – 17.00 Bellingham Beats 1 (5-7 years)
17.00 – 18.00 Bellingham Beats 2 (8-11 years)

Booking information
Bellingham Beats can be booked online, over the phone or in person.
New participants can book a taster class.
Classes are then bookable in termly or half-termly blocks.
Book the full term of one class to access a 10% discount for the full term of all other weekday Youth Dance Classes. Term discount applies to Term bookings only, this discount is not available for Block or Taster bookings.
Concessionary rates are also available for families in receipt of Universal Credit and/or Free School Meals. Limited availability.

Performances
Our participants perform to friends and family through studio sharings and annual theatre/community performances. Our most recent performance was at Bellingham Festival on Bellingham Green.
Information about upcoming performance opportunities are shared across the year.
Access & Support Needs
Sessions are suitable for young people with moderate access and support needs such as autism, a learning disability and neurodiversity.
Please disclose information about access and support needs when you book a place. We may then contact you for further information, and implement reasonable adjustments as required. This might include Assistant Support, use of communication tools, reducing the potential for sensory overload etc.
Our Dance Ability classes is a dedicated space for disabled young people to dance together. For information, please see Dance Ability: Carers & Dancers (5-8yrs) and Dance Ability: Independent Dancers (8-12yrs).
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
